Welcome to Dr. Adrien Chauvet’s group.

Our goal is to learn from Nature to tackle the challenges of today’s society.

Our group is using the latest development in laser technology to investigate molecules, biological protein complexes, solid-state and novel hybrid materials that are involved in proton, electron and energy transfers. By means of laser-based spectroscopy we are able to watch chemistry “live”. On one hand, we follow electron dynamics in the femto-second time scale. On the other hand, we follow cellular responses within micro-seconds time scale.
