Congratulation to Steve and Tom for having successfully defended their master thesis!
It was an intense but rewarding job: getting the first ultrafast Transient Absorption data of the group.
Looking back at it, it is always an amazing feat; that of making a molecule speak… something that you cannot even see by eye, being too small, moving too fast, but still being able to listen to it by means of high power laser and a dose of computational modelling 🙂
